The Sunrise Shack is located in coastal Carolina Beach, North Carolina USA. We are a short walk to the beach, boardwalk and lake and guests can walk to most restaurants within 5 minutes.

We think our property is safe for both babies and toddlers (0 months and older). The Sunrise Shack is one block away from a busy street during the summer. We recommend keeping a close eye on your children and to stay away from the road. The front screened-in porch can be locked from the inside but the back deck does not have a safety gate at the stairs. Please do not leave your children unsupervised in these areas. We do provide a pack and play and high chair upon request. Please let us know at time of booking if you would like any of these amenities.

Quiet hours are from 10PM-8AM daily. We ask all guests to respect our neighbors by keeping noise down to a minimum, especially after 10PM. The Sunrise Shack is a duplex and has an additional dwelling unit on the property. Please respect all others guests that may be present in the completely separate unit.

We know your furry friends are just as much part of the family! We allow friendly dog breeds that are well-trained with a one-time nonrefundable pet fee of $200 per pet (2 pet limit) and require all guests to follow our pet friendly policy below. We do not allow other types of pets.

To provide the better experience for all guests, we have implemented a Pet Friendly Policy:

• Pick up all droppings from your pet(s) throughout the stay.
• Do NOT allow pets on the furniture/beds.
• Do NOT allow wet pets in the house. Please dry them off outside.
• Do NOT leave pets alone or unsupervised.
• Property damage caused by your pet(s) may result in additional charges.

Check-in instructions are sent to your email one day prior to check-in.  If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to send us a message here.

A full refund will be provided for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 30 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.

Unexpected travel changes, disease and sickness, severe weather conditions, storms, and foreseeable hurricanes (during the months of August – November) are not accepted reasons for a refund.
