The place was very lovely! It was super close to the beach and it had everything we needed!

We love vacationing in Carolina beach and Michael &Jesslyn’s was one of our favorite places we have stayed! Beautifully renovated and decorated space with comfy beds and space to stretch out. Would definitely recommend this place or any other homes they have available to book!

Phillip was a great host who answered all questions in a very timely manner. House itself was very clean and ready for our arrival. A spotless house and wasn’t a spot of dirt anywhere. Close to the boardwalk and beach – max a 10 minute walk. Overall great stay and had a good time

The location was perfect – tucked away from the main road but still a short walk to everything! We loved the bright and trendy decor, sipping our morning coffee on the screened porch, and letting our Luna run around in the private backyard! Thanks for a lovely getaway!

This place is a gem 💎 The location was amazing – 2 blocks and you are right on the beach. The home itself was wonderfully decorated and lovely. We had all the basic amenities and the beds slept well. My pups loved the walks to the lake, around the neighborhood, and to the beach. The home was just far enough away to be peaceful but close enough to hear the beach at night. You can walk to bars, restaurants and shops in just a few minutes. Super convenient! It was an amazing few days of relaxing at the beach with my BFF. To add sugar to ice-cream, Michael and Jesslyn were simply amazing and super responsive. 🥰 Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

Philip was super helpful and sweet and responded quick. The beds were comfortable and we all slept like a rock. I liked that we were able to walk to Pops Diner (Definitely recommend btw)! Parking was a little difficult backing up but that was mainly because we were in a truck with zero turning radius haha! Only tricky part with the entire place was locking the doors. So make sure you pull the door tight before trying to lock it. Definitely would stay here again!

I had a wonderful experience as a recent guest at the Little Paddle Cottage. By far, it was the best getaway I’ve had in sometime. I loved the cottage so much that I didn’t bother to leave often. What I appreciated most was the cleanliness, parking accessibility, and the serenity of the space. The hosts were kind, communicative, and accommodating. I highly recommend staying at any of their homes (check out their other listings) – I know I’m certainly looking forward to future stays!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. I highly recommend – and that’s coming from me as a fellow Airbnb property owner. The property is bright, cozy, warm, welcoming, extremely comfortable and homey – and within walking distance of all the Carolina Beach highlights – plus private parking and a fenced yard. Wonderful experience – we sincerely hope to return soon. Plus the beds are unexpectedly extra comfortable!

The Sunrise Shack is a lovely place, very conveniently located to the beach and commercial areas of CB. My daughters and I really enjoyed having it as our home base while we were in the area for some wedding planning. Would gladly return in the future!

I would more than likely choose to stay here in the future if we find ourselves back in the area!

Great location – two blocks from the beach and one block from the hub of Carolina Beach (restaurants, carnival, boardwalk, etc.). Pet friendly…and huge fenced yard was nice. Screened front porch was nice for sunrises. Highly recommend a visit to the Fat Pelican.

We’ve stayed twice at the Sunrise Shack, and it’s always comfortable, well kept, and very close to a nice beach yet away from crowds. The beds are super comfy (the pillows are really tall and firm, though), and the screened porch is awesome. The back deck is great and the yard, but we didn’t use it much due to the rainy weather. The outdoor shower is nice! The bathroom is small for 4 people, as noted in the listing, so it wasn’t a surprise. The kitchen is modern and there is plenty of seating area at the counter and in the living room. Nice touches with coffee/tea/breakfast snacks provided!

The hosts are super responsive and always answer questions with terrific recommendations!

Perfect location for a long weekend beach getaway for my son and myself. Top floor unit is easy to access and a short walk to the beach. Squigglys ice cream is a stones throw away and it’s an easy walk to boardwalk & restaurants. Highly recommend the Carolina beach market on Saturday morning! Beds were super comfy & air ice cold!

My wife and I recently stayed at The Little Paddle, this place is great!! It is the perfect location if you want to be able to Carolina Beach. Michael and Jesslyn are incredible hosts and we will definitely be back to stay again.

The house is in a great location for a relaxing weekend. Very well decorated and updated. Perfect for a couple or small family. It had all the small touches I love like coffee, soaps, paper products, and basic spices.

This is a great little apartment, perfect for 2. The space was clean and comfy and super close to the beach and the boardwalk.

Two blocks from the beach and steps away from ice cream, shops, & restaurants. The beds were comfy, the living room was comfy, and we also really enjoyed the sunny back deck and fenced in yard AND the covered from deck (bc sometimes the sun is too much). Overall it was the perfect place for our quick beach trip. Would highly recommend.

Little Paddle was a delightful place to stay at Carolina Beach. The place is really charming with cute decor and amenities (and clean!). The outdoor shower was perfect for after the beach. It was a quick walk to restaurants (The Sandspur was great!) as well as the beach. Michael offered us a flexible check-in and was very responsive. We didn’t have other guests above us for the first two nights but we did on the last night and noticed you could hear people walking around. It wasn’t a huge issue but if you’re sensitive to noise it’s something to keep in mind. We would definitely stay here again though!

We stayed 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend. Place was nice, parking was off street and easy and able to accommodate all 3 of our vehicles. Convenient location, walking distance 10-15 minutes to beach, boardwalk, restaurants and shops. Quiet neighborhood. Beds were all very comfortable and we slept well. Would rent again!

Came for a solo getaway to rest and reset. Little Paddle was exactly as pictured, super cute! I felt safe my entire stay. The neighbors were friendly and quiet. Everything is within walking distance…beach, restaurants, shops. M and J were quick to reply to text. I thoroughly enjoyed my me time.

This was a fantastic stay. Very spacious. Very clean. Plenty of towels (also beach towels). Nice touch with the Keurig pods for your guests. Short walk to the boardwalk. Very nice peaceful neighborhood.

This location is right in the heart of Carolina beach within walking distance of great shops, 2 blocks from the beach, but removed enough to be a very peaceful retreat.

This place is beautifully decorated, provides great outdoor space, and the linens and bedding were comfortable like a dream.

This place is great for couples traveling with pets or kids with a large and lush backyard that is very rare to find at the beach. Our kids, 5 and 3, enjoyed the yard space for an Easter egg hunt and the outdoor shower and outdoor eating space were well utilized.

The indoor bathroom was a bit tight so be mindful if you aren’t good with smaller spaces, but it was enough space for what we needed to do.

I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Carolina Beach and we hope to come back for our next visit ☺️

This is a gem! So serene and restful, they have thought of everything to make you feel like youve been transported to a spa vacation. Everything about it is five stars and was so easy to walk to the center of town, it has it all! Super nice hosts and attentive to any questions i had and made me feel very welcomed. Highly recommend for a get away weekend, youll feel reenergized.

absolutely LOVED staying here, me and my partner stayed 2 nights and it was so perfect. easily walkable to surrounding restaurants and right down the street from the boardwalk. even had a pizza place on the fridge which was super cool. awesome place 10/10 would stay again.

Great place. Granted we went in the fall so it was very chill and not crowded. Phillips place was great. Very cozy. Very close to everything. Has lots of nice extra touches. Coffee. And creamers. Makeup wipes in the bathrooms. Yay. Just really thoughtful.

Great place to stay for a beach getaway! This is a very efficient apartment 5 minutes from the beach and just a couple blocks from the boardwalk. The kitchen is good for cooking some light meals between enjoying the local restaurants. The bathroom is nicely finished and functional. Bed is comfortable with adequate space in the bedroom. It was perfect for us as a couple taking a full weekend trip to Carolina Beach.

Fabulous home that is as close to the beach you can be without being on actual sand!

We rode our bikes the two minutes it took to get to the beach every morning during our stay, and looked forward to enjoying the large back deck and fenced yard with our small pups every afternoon!

The home really has it all, close to everything without having to be “in” everything: no bright lights or mechanical sounds from the boardwalk attractions (but only a five minute walk to them), no smell of leftover food scraps from restaurants or sounds of drunk party goers after 2 am (and a two minute walk to many eateries and bars), and best of all, the fenced backyard meant we could safely bring our dogs on vacation with us!

The home was built in the 1940s, but don’t let that deter you from booking- the A/C was strong and quiet, all appliances updated, furnishings were stylishly appointed, and the hosts were gracious and warm. We’ll book again for 2024!
