DESCRIPTION:The First Annual Father's Day Weekend Fishing Challenge is meant to celebrate the special bond between fathers and their children. In today’s busy world\, it’s easy to lose sight of quality time\, and we believe a day on the water offers the perfect opportunity to reconnect. Fishing encourages patience\, teamwork\, and storytelling—things that build lasting memories across generations. This tournament isn’t just about who catches the biggest fish\; it’s about creating meaningful moments. Whether it's a dad teaching his child how to bait a hook or cheering together when a fish bites\, these shared experiences strengthen family ties. We’re proud to provide a fun\, relaxed setting where families can unplug\, laugh\, and grow closer—one cast at a time.\n\nSchedule:\n• Early Check-in: 7:30AM (Biscuits & Coffee Provided)\n• Regular Check-in: 7:45AM\n• Welcome Announcement: 8:00AM (Father's Day Gift Bags)\n• Challenge Start Time: 8:15AM\n• Challenge End Time: 10:00AM\n\nRules:\n• All participants must have a fishing license and abide by North Carolina fishing rules and regulations. Children under the age of 16 are not required to have a fishing license.\n• All catch must be digitally recorded by phone or camera and released immediately. There will be no weigh in. Judging of rewards will be by honor system and photo submission.\n• All participants must surf/shore fish only\, boats are not permitted.\n• All participants must bring their own fishing gear and equipment\, including chairs and bait.\n• Participants of all skill levels will be attending\, we encourage helping hands and friendly neighbors.\n• No swimming allowed.
